Welcome to the office of Dr. John W. O'Grady, MD, FACP. New patients are welcomed, and patients needing appointments are scheduled without delay.
Dr. O'Grady is a highly experienced Board Certified Internist and Fellow of the American College of Physicians, with a focus on providing the highest quality of comprehensive and compassionate care. He places great importance on communicating with patients so that they feel understood and have complete information, and takes responsibility to diligently follow up on any conditions of concern.
Dr. O'Grady holds attending privileges at Lenox Hill Hospital/Northwell Health, where he cares for his hospitalized patients personally.
Dr. O'Grady is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at New York Medical College and coordinates the Medical School teaching program at Lenox Hill Hospital. For decades he has taught twice-weekly seminars in Internal Medicine to students from NYU, Cornell, Downstate and New York Medical College, and has received many Excellence in Teaching awards from those medical schools.
