IMPORTANT INFORMATION RE COVID 19

We currently have a very adequate number of testing kits for Covid 19 antigen detection and Covid 19 antibody detection.
If you have been exposed to Covid 19 or think you may have been exposed, it is very important to be tested 6- 7 days after exposure and again a week later. However, If you have symptoms, you need to be tested right away.
Elsewhere on this site, you, will see our hours posted. Our staff are normally in the office starting at 0715. Except for holidays, we are in the office in the hours noted; however, from noon to 2 PM our phones are off.
You can communicate with us through this portal and we will be able to respond to your concerns. Portal communications are normally received by staff during the work week. If you are having an emergency, please promptly contact emergency services by calling 911 (from a landline if available) and inform the operator of your situation. Please do not rely on messaging communication of any kind for assistance for any emergent medical needs. This Updox website and its messaging system is not designed to facilitate communication in a medical emergency. If you have an urgent problem, please call the office----even after hours--- and you will be advised who is on call to help you.
If you want to leave a voicemail for the staff or send us a fax, you can do that at any time at the numbers listed.
Each person in our office is committed to serving you and doing everything we can to partner with you to promote the highest level of health.
With the current surge in Covid due to the delta variant it is essential that all of us [even if vaccinated] wear masks when in any indoor setting. Please be advised that if you are not vaccinated, it is mandatory that you wear your mask 100% of the time while in our office ---even if you are by yourself in the examination room waiting for the clinician or staff member. There are no exceptions to this. Also, be aware that we may be shifting to a 'vaccinated only' practice. We may very soon be only offering virtual visits to unvaccinated individuals. We are considering this because of the extreme shedding that occurs when unvaccinated individuals are carrying the Covid -19 delta variant. We want to stay healthy as clinicians and it is my commitment to do the best I can to keep our entire staff and patients healthy.
